PRUPIM is committed to providing rewards which are competitively positioned to attract, retain and motivate talented individuals. We recognise that our people are an important factor in our performance as a business and so rewards are linked to both individual performance and commitment to our values.
PRUPIM's reward package is benchmarked against our key competitors and includes generous annual leave entitlement together with retirement, sickness and medical benefits. We also offer a range of benefits to enhance your work/life balance, such as career breaks and childcare vouchers.
Pension - PRUPIM recognises that retirement benefits are important to our employees. Employees are offered membership of the Prudential Defined Contribution pension scheme, which the Company makes a contribution to.
Work/Life Balance - PRUPIM offers a range of options to help employees manage their work/life balance. This could be help with family responsibilities, study, travel, achieve a personal ambition such as pursing a hobby, or just having a bit more free time. All requests will be considered, regardless of whether you are a parent or have caring responsibilities and whatever your job role and level of seniority.
Examples of the options for flexibility include changes to working hours, taking a career break and the ability to purchase additional annual leave.
Savings Related Share Option Scheme – a combined savings and share purchase plan which enables employees to save over a fixed three or five year period. At contract maturity, employees have the choice to purchase Prudential shares at a discounted rate (normally 20% less than the share price at the time the offer was made), or receive a refund of contributions, together with any tax-free bonus that may be due.
PRUPIM Employee Assisted Learning (PEAL) - £100 per year is available for activities related to personal learning and development; these do not have to be directly work-related. Examples of activities supported in the past include golf lessons, language studies and flying.
Staff Discounts - a range of Prudential and M&G products are available at discounted rates. These include ISA's, home, car and travel insurance. PRUPIM also has discounts with a number of external companies including legal advice, travel discounts and optical care.
Childcare Vouchers - This government backed scheme enables eligible employees to make tax and NI insurance savings on the first £55 per week of your childcare costs by making a salary ‘sacrifice’ in return for a equivalent childcare benefit. The scheme can be used to pay all forms of childcare approved in line with the current Childcare Voucher Legislation.
Please note that reward packages may vary according to contract of employment and location and some benefits are subject to an initial qualifying period, usually six months, as well as individual scheme rules.
