Responsibilities

Martin is responsible for health, safety and environmental management for PRUPIM. He took up this role in 2005 and steered PRUPIM to ISO 14001 certification.

Career History

Martin joined PRUPIM in 1998 after 16 years in the RAF. For six years he worked on the management team of the Mall, Cribbs Causeway – a regional shopping centre near Bristol. He was responsible for security, health and safety and environmental management. Whilst there he gained certification for the centre to ISO 14001 and 18001 – the first UK shopping centre to achieve both standards. In 2005 he took up the head office role of Environmental Manager and in 2006 he also took on responsibility for health and safety management. Martin has been the main contact at PRUPIM for the outsourced Utility Bureau Service. He is also responsible for the introduction of EPCs to the investment property portfolio and is planning PRUPIM’s response to the Carbon Reduction Commitment.
