Responsibilities

Joel leads the Sustainability and Environment team within PRUPIM Asset Management. Joel’s team is responsible for sustainability reporting, community initiatives, environmental programmes including ISO 14001, environmental due diligence, environmental risk profiling, energy procurement, and sustainable investment throughout the UK.

Career History

Joel’s professional career started on Norfolk Island, Australia where he was Environment Officer responsible for setting policy and advising MPs on matters affecting regional government. Following a move to the UK, Joel’s career diversified to environmental consultancy focusing on local development frameworks, construction projects, and environmental management systems. Prior to leading the Sustainability and Environment team at PRUPIM, Joel was the PRUPIM Environment and Energy Manager. Joel has maintained an interest in incorporating sustainability into the investment process and identifying opportunities to improve the investment potential of assets by managing them in sustainable way.
