PRUPIM utilises a framework for sustainability management that is structured around the requirements of a typical environmental management system (EMS) - as required by BS EN ISO 14001:2004.

Based upon a cyclical model, the system guarantees continuous improvement, although of course the scope of the sustainability management framework is wider than that of an EMS as it encompasses social and economic impacts as well as environmental impacts.
