Our Fund Management teams manage a diverse range of funds. These funds are divided into Retail and Institutional.
The role of our Fund Managers is to deliver performance in accordance with each client's objectives by giving a strategic direction to the property investment management for each fund. This includes the creation of fund strategies, the identification of suitable assets for purchase, development and sale, and agreeing the appraisal process. To achieve this aim, they work closely with a team of Investment Managers and Property Research specialists who help provide the context to any investment decisions and drive the implementation.
Our Fund Managers usually hold a Real Estate Management related degree and are qualified chartered surveyors. Many also hold an additional Investment Management qualification.
Our Investment Managers support the Fund Managers in the production of asset strategies in order to achieve PRUPIM's overall strategic investment objectives. Our Investment Managers work across specific sectors, regions or funds.
Working as part of a team, their role involves seeking out and evaluating both conventional and new investment opportunities. They have responsibility for recommending and maintaining specific asset strategies, which includes monitoring and reviewing the performance of our assets. They also evaluate property offers or sale recommendations and asset enhancing requirements proposed by the Asset Managers.
