Responsibilities

Janet is a Fund Director on the life funds business with specific Fund Manager responsibility for the £1.5bn Scottish Amicable Insurance Fund, an actively managed closed life fund with an exposure to International markets in Europe, North America and Asia in addition to the UK.  Janet also chairs the Derivatives Forum, monitoring developments in the property derivatives area and seeking to use these instruments for enhanced fund management.

Career History

Janet has 24 years of experience with Prudential, most of which has been in the investment and fund management areas of PRUPIM, following a brief spell analysing property equities and research. Prior to joining the Prudential Group, Janet gained four years experience at Coal Industry Nominees Pension Fund. 

Qualifications

Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

BScHons (first class) in Land Management at Reading University
