Responsibilities

John leads a team of Fund Managers responsible for the strategy and investment decisions for a wide range of PRUPIM managed funds, as well as the International Property Investment Programme. He is also a Director of two International Property Funds, one in Europe and the other in Asia.

Career History

John began his career at PRUPIM in 1978 as a Property Manager and also gained experience working as a Development Manager. In 1996 he took on the role of Fund Director with responsibility for fund management of Prudential With Profits Life Fund which grew from £3.1 billion to £9.1 billion over the period. John is currently the Head of Life Funds and International Property.

Qualifications

Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors             

Honours Degree in Estate Management from Reading University

Professional Affiliations

Member of Association of British Insurers Property Panel. John is a Commissioner of the Church of England and as such he serves on the Board of Governors and the Assets Committee.
