In 1987, PRUPIM was among the first real estate investment managers to establish a dedicated research team. Now eight strong, the Global Property Research Team comprises five ‘property economists’ and two performance analysts.

The team researches property markets in the UK, mainland Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific regions.

The main focus of the team is assessing the prospective returns from property markets and advising client-funds on which high-level strategies they should follow to profit from our views. In addition, the team researches and advises them on how best to control risk within their portfolios.

We also conduct research on new investment markets, asset valuation and emerging issues and topics which impact investments.

With access to data on over US$37 billion of property assets, and working closely with performance analysts using in-house systems, the team is able to conduct proprietary research to add value to the client-funds it serves.
