Andrew Windle - Graduate Surveyor

I applied for the PRUPIM Graduate Programme after spending three years at Oxford Brookes University studying Real Estate Management, a RICS accredited undergraduate course. During my time at PRUPIM I have gained valuable knowledge of different aspects of property, ensuring I gain excellent experience for my APC.

I now work in the Fund management team at PRUPIM, focussing on Regional Offices. I am involved with purchase and disposal of assets, as well as being involved with the ongoing asset management of properties. During my first year at PRUPIM I worked in the Office and Industrial Asset Management team, where I was involved in a variety asset management and property management tasks, such as rent reviews, lease renewals, service charge budgeting, dilapidations claims and refurbishments.

Gerald Bishop - Graduate Surveyor

In my first placement at PRUPIM I am working in the Asset Management Team on a portfolio of industrial properties in the UK. This involves dealing with both leasing and property management matters such as new lettings, rent reviews and tenant applications for alterations or subletting. The support provided for the APC is excellent as there is a solid structure in place and a wealth of experienced people within the company.

I have a master’s degree from Cass Business School in Property Valuation and Law which I completed part-time whilst working at PRUPIM. I then applied for their Graduate Scheme as I already knew that the company has a great working environment and a fantastic attitude towards training and development. PRUPIM’s holistic approach to property investment management ensures there is ample opportunity to gain relevant experience for the APC whilst working on a variety of quality schemes.

James Shipton - Graduate Surveyor

I work in the Fund Management Team where I regularly liaise with members of the Asset Management and Development team on a variety of asset initiatives. I am also regularly involved in the acquisition of assets.

Having graduated from The University of Exeter with a BA (Hons) degree in Geography, I went on to complete the RICS accredited MSc Real Estate at the University of Reading before applying for the graduate scheme at PRUPIM.

I applied to PRUPIM because I was interested in working for a market leading real estate investment manager. Working at PRUPIM has given me the opportunity to be involved with exciting projects and prestigious assets, in addition I have benefited from extensive training and preparation for my APC.

Natalie Andrews - Graduate Surveyor

I currently work in the Fund Management Team at PRUPIM. During my first year I worked with the Industrial Asset Management Team which gave me the opportunity to undertake a variety of leasing and management tasks including negotiating rent reviews, lease renewals and new lets as well as organising licences to assign, sublet and alter. I also conducted property inspections and was involved in undertaking market research.

I applied for the graduate scheme at PRUPIM after studying Business in Property, a RICS accredited undergraduate degree at The University of the West of England.

PRUPIM has provided me with excellent experience for my APC, covering all the necessary competencies and has also supported me through my Investment Management Certificate. This has proven to me their commitment to individual development and career progression.

Peter Langly-Smith - Graduate Surveyor

I currently work within the Retail Investment Team at PRUPIM, focussing on high street and out of town assets. I have worked on a number of purchases and disposals as well as having involvement with the ongoing asset management of the properties held within the Life Fund.

I applied for the graduate scheme after completing a three year Real Estate Management degree at Oxford Brookes University. My first rotation was in the Industrial Asset Management team where my role was split between Leasing and Property Management. I was involved in rent review negotiations, lease renewals, dilapidation claims and service charge budgeting to name a few.

The rotations that PRUPIM can offer graduates ensures that you will cover the necessary competencies to sit your APC as well enabling you to mature and develop as a surveyor.

Robert MacQueen - Graduate Surveyor

After qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2007, I am currently working in the Fund Management Team at PRUPIM. My responsibilities include acquiring and disposing of assets on behalf of PRUPIM's client funds and liaising with PRUPIM's Asset Management and Development teams on various asset initiatives.

I have a degree in Real Estate Management (Sandwich Course) from Kingston University. The course involved completing a one year work placement, where I had the opportunity to undertake leasing and management work in the Corporate Real Estate team of Royal & Sun Alliance. This experience has proven extremely beneficial with regards to my current responsibilities at PRUPIM.

PRUPIM has given me exposure to extensive training to help prepare me for my APC final assessment and their ongoing support for personal development is first rate.

Sarah Stanley - Graduate Surveyor

I applied for the graduate scheme at PRUPIM having gained a BSc (Hons) degree in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University. Since joining the Graduate Scheme in August 2008, I have been assigned to the Retail Asset Management Team where my responsibilities cover an interesting variety of leasing and property management tasks.

During the next two years I will be rotating through other departments, gaining experience across and the spectrum of disciplines that PRUPIM offer. The structured package of support, guidance and training, which first attracted me to PRUPIM, has exceeded all expectations.  From the outset, I have been made to feel welcome and that everyone has an investment in my personal and professional development.  I have every confidence that the Graduate Scheme is the best possible preparation towards my APC competencies and my career going forward.

Sophie Plummer-Seats - Graduate Surveyor

I secured a place on the graduate scheme at PRUPIM in August 2007 and am currently working in the Asset Management Team. I have worked on several exciting sites and developments all over the country and have received excellent training to assist me.

I have recently completed the RICS accredited undergraduate degree in Real Estate Management at Oxford Brookes University. I was attracted to PRUPIM because of the high profile work the company are involved in through their extensive property portfolio, along with the excellent graduate package and training offered.
